Instrumentation:
- Violin, Cello and Piano
- Soprano Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone and Organ
Durata: 05:00
Commissioned by Agder Camerata Trio
Short description: Epilogue (2021) was written as a quiet closing gesture for a concert ending with Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1. After two years shaped by the Covid‑19 pandemic, I wanted to create a warm, introspective piece that offered space for reflection — a gentle, meditation centred around the tonal gravity of B.

Post tenebras lux

Post tenebras lux (Light after Darkness) (2011) for Cello and Piano

Instrumentation: Cello and Piano
Durata: 6:30
Short description: A reflective work about the gradual journey from darkness toward light, moving from a solitary cello monologue through tension and renewal to a peaceful, luminous ending.

YouTubePDF-Excerpt - Programme Note

Post tenebras lux is a very beautiful piece, with one of the most beautiful and peaceful endings I know. Listen for how the piano’s lovely rising chords, together with the very slow rhythm, lead us into a state of calm and healing.'
